Lost in the Woods: A Logical Conundrum for the Doctor
Dr. Rational is lost ...

Good evening. Today’s puzzle is inspired by my backyard. Here it is:
Backstory: Dr. Rational is lost in a dense forest when he stumbles upon a peculiar wooden signpost with three arrows pointing in different directions. Each arrow has a statement written on it, but only one of the three statements is true. A mysterious voice echoes through the trees, telling him that choosing the correct path will lead him out of the forest, while the other two will take him deeper into the wilderness.
Problem: The three arrows read:
Left: “This path leads out of the forest”
Middle: “The left path leads deeper into the forest”
Right: “The middle path does not lead out of the forest”
If only one of these statements is true, which path should Dr. Rational take?
Hint: Logic Tables
